Director, European Anti-Poverty Network
Juliana Santos Wahlgren is the European Anti-Poverty Network (EAPN)'s Director. She is an expert on social rights, gender, anti-racism and anti-discrimination at both EU and Member States Level. She has extensively covered issues related to poverty, migration, integration and strategic litigation. In November 2020, she was appointed to the EC Expert Group on the views of Migrants on Migration, Integration and Asylum.
Estelle Askew-Renaut is a Human Rights Officer in the Anti-Racial Discrimination Section at the UN Human Rights Office in Geneva, and was a member of the team tasked with the preparation of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights’ reports on racial justice and equality for Africans and people of African descent. Since joining the UN Human Rights Office, she has worked notably on administration of justice, accountability and transitional justice issues in a variety of contexts. She holds degrees in English and European Law, an LLM in International Human Rights Law and a PhD on access to justice.
Romina Boarini is the Director of the OECD Centre on Well-Being, Inclusion, Sustainability and Equal Opportunity (WISE). She was previously a Senior Advisor to the OECD Secretary-General and the Head of the Inclusive Growth Initiative, where she developed the OECD Framework for Action on Inclusive Growth and launched Business for Inclusive Growth, a coalition of 40 multinationals committed to fight inequalities. Before joining the Office of the Secretary-General, Romina worked as Deputy Head of the Well-Being Division of the Statistics Directorate and the Head of the Well-Being and Progress Section, where she was responsible for OECD Better Life Initiative. Currently Romina promotes the OECD’s position as a leading international institution in the area of well-being, inclusion, sustainability and equal opportunity, and contributes to strengthening OECD research and advice on the Beyond GDP Agenda; policies for well-being; inclusive growth and SDGs.
