Graduated in International Relations and Development studies, Vanessa Kabuta started her EU career at the Directorate-General for International Partnership of the European Commission. Her first work experiences as an attachée/policy officer in regional, international and European diplomatic representations also constituted her proven expertise in EU External Relations. 

Since 2019, Vanessa KABUTA has been working in the Commission’s Directorate-General for Justice and Consumers, where first she was in charge of the age and racial discrimination-related folders. Since August 2021 she  joined  the EU Anti-Racism Coordination team whose mandate is to implement the Commission’s EU Anti-Racism action plan 2020-2025.  

Her personal commitment at local level (in Belgium) on anti-racism, ethnic/cultural diversity and social inclusion issues (child poverty) demonstrates her keen interest for equality policy areas, that she is proud to currently deal with at EU and international levels.

Tamás Kádár is the Co-Director of Equinet, the European Network of Equality Bodies. He is responsible for overseeing the legal and policy work of this network of public bodies set up based on the EU equal treatment directives. Tamás has a legal background and before Equinet he used to work as a legal officer at the Hungarian Equal Treatment Authority. He has published articles on equality and non-discrimination (including socio-economic status as a discrimination ground), spoken at numerous international conferences and acted as a trainer and expert in various EU, Council of Europe, OSCE and USAID-funded projects. 

Alice Bah Kuhnke is currently a member of the European Parliament for the Swedish green Party and serves as a member of the committee for women’s rights and gender equality. She is a former minister of the Swedish Government responsible for culture and democracy 2014-2019. Her previous experiences also include working as Director General for Swedish Agency for Youth and Civil Society, General Secretary for Fairtrade Sweden and Sustainability director at the company OF AB.
