Romina Boarini is the Director of the OECD Centre on Well-Being, Inclusion, Sustainability and Equal Opportunity (WISE). She was previously a Senior Advisor to the OECD Secretary-General and the Head of the Inclusive Growth Initiative, where she developed the OECD Framework for Action on Inclusive Growth and launched Business for Inclusive Growth, a coalition of 40 multinationals committed to fight inequalities. Before joining the Office of the Secretary-General, Romina worked as Deputy Head of the Well-Being Division of the Statistics Directorate and the Head of the Well-Being and Progress Section, where she was responsible for OECD Better Life Initiative. Currently Romina promotes the OECD’s position as a leading international institution in the area of well-being, inclusion, sustainability and equal opportunity, and contributes to strengthening OECD research and advice on the Beyond GDP Agenda; policies for well-being; inclusive growth and SDGs.
Hussein Adam Dia is Policy Officer at the Social and Economic Council of the Netherlands, working in particular for the Dutch Diversity Charter. His fields of expertise are: age diversity, ethnic diversity and employee participation. Furthermore, he researches monitoring instruments of diversity and inclusion in organizations. Hussein obtained his degrees in Political Science at Berlin Humboldt University (Germany) and Leiden University (The Netherlands). With his academic background and professional experience he advises organizations in financial services, the retail and energy industry in operationalising corporate policies for more diverse and inclusive workplaces. Moreover, he advises departments of the Dutch government about sustainability reporting.
Ana Gallego is the Director-General for Justice and Consumers at the European Commission since November 2021. Before joining the European Commission she was Director-General of International Legal Cooperation and Human Rights in the Ministry of Justice in Spain. She has a degree in law from the University of Granada, Spain and studies in Translation and Interpretation from the same university.
